Pride of parents
The Pride of Dayton Marching Band kicked off the University of Dayton’s annual Family Weekend Friday with blast from the tubas and a tweet from the flutes. Parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, and grandparents all watched with admiration and pride, listening intently to the beautiful music their students have worked so hard preparing. Alumni felt like students again, cheering on the Flyers during sporting events alongside the talented band. Memories to last a lifetime for the band and their families were created in Humanities Plaza this weekend.
