Although fall technically began Sept. 22, this past week's cool temperatures have made it officially feel like fall. With the average highs in the low 50s — and what feels like constant cold breezes — warm coats have been dug out for the season. The leaves began changing colors a few weeks ago and are beginning to fall onto the ground, providing a satisfying crunch with every step. Pumpkins are collecting on front porches, and everyone is talking about their Halloween plans and costume ideas. The temperatures have temporarily hiked back up to the mid-70s for one last glimpse of summer, but, starting tomorrow, I'll be curled up in cozy sweaters and blankets after a cold walk back from class.
