Hatching a plan
Birds sit on their nest, incubating their eggs to grow and strengthen their flock. Like the birds, all parents want a better future for their children. We humans raise our young in hopes of strengthening our next generation as well. We educate them to build their knowledge of the world around them, in hopes of making them leaders who serve their communities. It’s an investment for sure, but one that certainly yields a high return. As they peer outside the classroom windows over their years at UD, what will they envision for the future? If we’ve done our job, that vision is one of a kinder, more caring, compassionate tomorrow for us all.
