Experts say tuck-pointing should be done every ten years to repair the mortar joints of stone structures. This creates a better connection between stones, such as the ones seen here in Central Mall. These particular blocks are made from limestone, which is millions of years old and will stand the test of time with proper upkeep. Better connections will also be found at the 1806 Brown Street Apartments as new data wire is installed for the building.
