Feel the heat
On those warm summer days — think the low 90’s — you might be prompted to notice campus water usage. Water is used to water our campus gardens, flow through our fountains, rest in holy water fonts, and even give frogs and turtles a place to swim in the Curran Place moat. On days like this, it seems the most important use is whatever will help us stay cool and hydrated. Like the frogs, we may be tempted to jump right in or take a drink. But remember to only drink safe, potable water.
