Some things may be hard to do for some people. For example: math, learning a foreign language, playing a musical instrument, painting a picture, learning chemistry, and so on. And some things are hard to do for anyone — maybe even harder — like being dropped into a tank of water on a cool, breezy April day. Recently in Humanities Plaza, members of Beta Theta Pi fraternity did just that, while raising money for Shoes 4 the Shoeless. For a $5.00 donation, anyone got three balls to throw in an attempt to dunk the person perched on the water tank’s seat. The outdoor temperature was a chilly 49 degrees, and after a dunk in the tank it felt even colder. This was certainly something hard to endure, but everyone who sat on the dunk seat did so bravely and for a good cause.
