Monochromatic winter day
The word monochromatic is defined as something having only one color. This time of year things seem gray. The sun shining through a filter of really thick layers of clouds mutes the colors of everything. Without direct sunlight we might naturally feel like hibernating through winter. Some scientists theorize early humans did so about 400,000 years ago.
