A weird and quirky little bird dreams of nothing but flying free in the wind without a care in the world. Unfortunately for him, he’s also deathly afraid of leaving his house. I suffer from some serious anxiety, though I’m not agoraphobic like Daryl, the star of this short movie. I have found that if you can step away from how scared you are, you can realize that how you react to situations is actually hilarious. For my class, I created a stop-motion comedy by building the sets full of bright color and combining them with illustrations. Illustrations are my strong suit, and my films are a lot like books come to life on a screen.
