International fest
To wrap up international education week, the University held the annual International Festival on Saturday, Nov. 9. The festival is a great place for international students to embrace their heritage while teaching their peers about different cultures. Ana Lopez, a sophomore international business major, says she loves "seeing peoples enthusiasm and willingness to learn" when they come to her booth on Puerto Rico. Ana also says, "It is important for students to come to events like this to broaden their perspective on the world." Along with the booths, visitors could watch performances and eat global cuisine.
