Hawkeyes on the weather
Like a sentry, a red tail hawk rests on a roof peak at Marianist Hall near the chapel's cross. Experts say hawks eat field mice, rats, chip monks, and grey squirrels. Most hawks stay in North America, but some fly to Central America for the winter. Maybe we should take a cue from this bird and keep a hawk eye on the weather as forecasters predict big changes in our area soon.
