Handy Hats

Lilia Sciarretti '19 April 23, 2019

Handy Hats, founded by senior Danielle Ruffolo, started as a pitch in her sophomore experience class for entrepreneurship majors. Her pitch turned into a real product and can now be found many places, including online and the UD Bookstore. This spring, the marketing and entrepreneurship major won the $25,000 grand prize in the University of Dayton’s Flyer Pitch competition, one of the largest business plan contests in the nation at the collegiate level. She and her friends took time out from classes to model the winning product for us.
