Assistive Equipment

The Office of Learning Resources has a variety of assistive equipment that students may borrow during an academic semester.

  • If you need an item described on this page, you must complete the accommodations process and be approved for the technology accommodation.
  • You will need to schedule an additional appointment to receive training on the equipment and sign the loan agreement.

Personal FM by Williams Sound

The UbiDuo is the world's foremost communication solution for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. It is portable and helps facilitate face-to-face communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing people and hearing people in real time when an interpreter is not available. LiveScribe SmartPen (Echo)

The LiveScribe SmartPen allows you to record everything you write, hear, or say.  You can transfer your notes and audio to your PC or Mac and save, search, and share them as PDF or audio files.
