Roesch 2U

All faculty are automatically enrolled in the University Libraries document delivery service, Roesch 2U.

There are three different kinds of requested materials that will be delivered to your administrative office: Roesch library, interlibrary loan and OhioLINK. Deliveries are automatic unless you choose to opt-out of the entire Roesch 2u Service.

If you do not want your materials delivered to your administrative office please email circdesk@udayton.edu and your name will be removed from the list.

If you are in Roesch Library and would like to pick up your materials, even though you normally have them sent to your administrative office, you can still pick them up.  Tell the staff member at a service desk that you normally get your materials through Roesch 2U, but would like to pick them up while you are in the building.

Your materials may not be available if they are in the process of being delivered or have not yet been retrieved off the shelves.

Starting August 2023 deliveries will be changed to twice per week on Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 11 a.m.-3 p.m.  In addition, during intersessions there will be no delivery and during the summer delivery is by appointment only.  You can schedule delivery requests during the summer by reaching out to program director Shane Plassenthal by email at splassenthal1@udayton.edu or by calling 937-229-4301.

All materials will be delivered to your department's administrative office or mailbox.  Please be aware that we will not deliver directly to your personal office.

Books requested from Roesch Library and OhioLINK have standard due dates for faculty.  Other books requested through Interlibrary Loan will vary based on the lending institution.  Due dates will be visible on your materials.

No, it is the responsibility of each faculty member to return items back to Roesch Library on or before the date materials are due.
