Research and Collections
The University Libraries’ faculty and staff build collections that support the university's academic and research programs.
Collection Highlights
- The main research collections are enriched by the unique holdings of the University Archives and Special Collections, the Marian Library and the U.S. Catholic Special Collection, which offer a treasure trove of primary and secondary materials related to the history and records of the university, the city of Dayton and our strong Marianist and Catholic traditions.
- Students, faculty and staff have access to a variety of popular books through our leisure reading collection and mainstream magazines and newspapers.
- A Federal Depository Library since 1969, Roesch Library also provides access to government records in physical and electronic forms. Use the library catalog to search the library's holdings for government documents.
