Volunteer Student Law Project
The Volunteer Student Law Project is dedicated to provide legal and nonlegal volunteer opportunities to law students. The VSLP works in conjunction with the Greater Dayton Volunteer Law Project, comprised of attorneys who actively seek pro bono opportunities. VSLP will assign projects to law students to work with local attorneys on pro bono cases, thus obtaining practical legal experience, an opportunity to network in the local legal community, and an opportunity to accumulate hours towards the Pro Bono Commitment to Community Program.
Major Initiatives: Legal work experience: receive hands-on legal work that will provide exposure to working attorneys, real clients and opportunities to network within the local legal community; networking opportunities: cultivate professional relationships; pro bono commitment.
