School of Law : Dayton Docket
Wednesday, April 16, 2014
The celebration included a portrait unveiling of the Honorable Walter H. Rice, painted by Gregory Gibson, Class of 1977. Judge Rice and Gibson are long-time friends and benefactors of the School of Law. The portrait by Gibson, which now hangs in the Mathias H. Heck Courtroom in Keller Hall, is a wonderful, lasting tribute to Judge Rice. The School of Law would like to extend a sincere thank you to all who attended, and especially to the Honorable Frank Geraci, Jr., who delivered the keynote remarks. Judge Geraci sits on the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. He and Gibson were classmates in the School of Law's first graduating class after it reopened in August 1974. |
Last year's University of Dayton School of Law graduates are finding jobs in their field at rates higher than state or local averages, according to data recently released by the American Bar Association. |
