Volunteers Needed to Help Plan 2012 Alumni Weekend
Volunteers are needed to assist in planning the School of Law’s 2012 Alumni Weekend, scheduled for May 18 and 19.
Graduates from all classes are welcome to participate in the planning process and recruit other alumni to attend. Volunteers are also needed to serve on Reunion Year Committees for the Classes of 1977, ’82, ’87, ’92, ’97, 2002 and ’07, all of which will celebrate milestone reunions this year.
Several dozen alumni have already volunteered. They include Eugene Bonner, James Rados and Thomas Whelley II of the Class of ’77; Debra Armanini, Brenda Kloos and Marybeth Rutledge from the Class of ’82; Mary Lynn Readey and R. Anne Shale from the Class of ’87; Jeffrey Greenberger, Dianne Dieterle Judge and Magistrate Cynthia Grubart Martin from the Class of ’92; the Honorable Beth Buchanan and Mike Ledbetter from the Class of ’97; and Kyle Duwel and Jennifer Maffet from the Class of ’02.
All UDSL alumni are invited to Alumni Weekend, regardless of when you graduated.
This year’s Alumni Weekend begins on Friday, May 18, with a new activity: the Alumni Association will host an informal reception at America’s Packard Museum, in downtown Dayton, beginning at 5 p.m.
The weekend continues with a community service project, scheduled for the morning of May 19, at Daybreak, a shelter for homeless and runaway youth in Dayton. A CLE program will also be offered on May 19 in Keller Hall. Three hours of CLE credit will be offered.
The weekend concludes the evening of May 19 with special class receptions and a dinner in Keller Hall. Free childcare is provided during the receptions and dinner.
