Program Overview

LEADING TO A MASTER’S DEGREE IN AMERICAN AND TRANSNATIONAL LAW

Through this master's degree program, students with scientific and technical backgrounds will have the opportunity to advance their careers in the growing area of patent law.

Learn how to be a Patent Agent

Developed in cooperation with the Air Force Research Laboratory and Wright Brothers Institute, this program helps students understand the science behind patents and the law that secures them, while providing them with the business skills and acumen to manage innovation and maximize value. The experience can benefit employees in research labs and patent law firms, who help bring innovations to market. It can also be a way for those with science and technical backgrounds to explore careers as patent agents. 

Prepare for the Patent Bar Exam

In addition to learning how to be a patent agent, students in the program will train to take the USPTO Patent Bar Exam. Those wanting to take the USPTO Patent Bar should review USPTO requirements for admission.

All Courses Available Online

Students will be able to take all of their classes in the program online.

NO GMAT, GRE OR LSAT REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

Students must have a bachelor's degree in order to take this program.
