Program Overview

Learn about patent law

Through this certificate program and in partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), students with scientific and technical backgrounds have the opportunity to advance their knowledge in the growing area of intellectual property. The program helps students understand the science behind patents and the law that secures them, while providing them with the business skills and acumen to manage innovation and maximize value. It also provides the beginning steps of preparing students to take the USPTO Patent Bar Exam. Those wanting to take the USPTO Patent Bar should review USPTO requirements for admission.

All Courses Available Online

Students are able to take all of their classes in the program online.

NO GMAT, GRE OR LSAT REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

Students must have a bachelor's degree in order to take this program.
