Thursday, October 20, 2016Rock on at the Metal in Strange Places Conference, beginning Thursday, Oct. 20, at 5:45 p.m. in the courtroom with Prof. Tracy Reilly. As keynote speaker, Prof. Reilly will be presenting "Heavy Metal in the Courtroom," where she will examine the ways that heavy metal musicians find themselves in court, with a focus on infringement and sampling, but also touching on wrongful death/tort causes of action based on allegations of subliminal messaging in metal music.
