This academic year, the School of Law is celebrating 50 years since it reopened; coincidentally, this year also marks the 175 anniversary of the founding of the University of Dayton! We are inviting all alumni, friends and former faculty and staff back to campus to mark this once-in-a-lifetime milestone. The celebration will take place from April 4-6. You can view the list of events below and register using the "Register Now" link. This will be one celebration you won't want to miss, including the special anniversary dinner on Saturday, April 5!

Welcome Reception | Friday, April 4 | 5:00-7:30 p.m. | Keller Hall Atrium

Join us for a Welcome Reception and reconnect with your former classmates and student organizations including Law Review, the Student Bar Association, Mock Trial, Moot Court and others. Complimentary appetizers and beverages will be available.

CLE | Saturday, April 5 | 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. | Keller Hall Courtroom

Join us for a CLE put on by UDSL alumni. Three panel presentations, featuring former beloved faculty and staff and notable alumni, will focus on the judiciary, trial attorneys and non-traditional law service professions and address current issues in the legal profession. CLE credit of 3 hours is approved.

Cost $25 (includes CLE materials, continental breakfast, and a boxed lunch)

Keller Hall Tour | Saturday, April 5 | 1-2 p.m. | Keller Hall Atrium

Join us for a tour of Keller Hall to revisit your law school and witness firsthand its growth and transformation over the past five decades. Reconnect with the spaces where you studied, collaborated, and formed lasting memories. You’ll be greeted by current students who will share insights on the law school today, including new programs and technologies, and ways the institution is meeting the ever-evolving demands of legal education. Historical photos and notable milestones in the law school’s history will be on display.

50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner | Saturday, April 5 | 6-10 p.m. | Daniel J. Curran Place

This special 50th anniversary dinner is an event you won't want to miss! Reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and celebrate the school’s distinguished history and successful alumni. Special displays will highlight key milestones and accomplishments from the past fifty years, and showcase the achievements of notable alumni, faculty, and students. Throughout the evening, guests can engage in lively conversations, share stories of their time at the school, and reflect on how UDSL has shaped their careers and lives. This black-tie optional dinner will include a red carpet and champagne wall, cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, served dinner, a jazztet, dancing, photo booth, a special gift, and remarks by University of Dayton President Eric Spina and several former deans and favorite faculty members. 

Dress is cocktail attire (black-tie optional). Cost $100 (includes dinner, drinks, entertainment, and a surprise gift).
