Create drafts of a legal resume and cover letter utilizing the samples given in the Resume and Cover Letter Writing Guide
Make a list of areas of law as well as geographical areas of interest to target your job search.

Gather references’ contact information and approval for your professional list of references.

Obtain undergraduate and law transcripts. Keep the originals and make copies for employers who request either one or both of them. You may contact the Registrar for your official School of Law transcripts.
