The Alumni Association proudly recognizes and honors those individuals that truly reflect the values and ideals of the School of Law in their day-to-day actions through professional integrity, exemplary achievement, extraordinary service, and continued active support.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is given each year to a University of Dayton School of Law graduate who reflects the school's values of professional integrity and community service through achievements of exceptional merit, honor and influence. Any UDSL graduate may nominate another graduate to receive this honor.
The Honorable Walter H. Rice Honorary Alumni Award is presented each year to an individual who is not a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, but who represents the ideals of the school through exemplary achievement. This award recognizes significant contributions to the legal profession, the community and the School of Law. Any graduate may nominate a colleague to receive this honor.
The Steven E. Yuhas Alumni Special Service Award was created in 2010 in honor of Steve Yuhas' dedication to the School of Law and his accomplishments as president of the Alumni Association. The award recognizes a University of Dayton School of Law graduate's extraordinary service and contributions to the Alumni Association, the School of Law, its students and the community. The award recognizes individuals who have been deeply involved in the work of the Alumni Association and the School of Law through exceptional contributions of time, talent and financial assistance.
The Francis J. Conte Special Service Award recognizes an individual's extraordinary community service, as reflected in the School's Catholic and Marianist values, and support for the School of Law through donations of time, talent or financial assistance. This award may be given to anyone who supports the School of Law.
The President's Award is reserved for an individual who provides outstanding and remarkable support to the School of Law and its mission. A recipient is chosen and the recognition is awarded at the discretion of the president of the Alumni Association.
The Richard P. Perna Young Alumni Award of Excellence recognizes a UDSL graduate who has made a significant leadership, career and/or service contribution to their community, the School Of Law or the legal profession within 10 years of graduation. Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors nominate candidates for this award.
