Tuition and Costs: J.D. Program
Tuition and Living Expenses
The University of Dayton School of Law charges tuition per credit hour rather than per academic year. The cost per credit hour for the Traditional program is $1,352 for the 2024-2025 academic year. For the Online Hybrid J.D. program the cost per credit hour is $1,500 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
To encourage you to devote your full attention to the rigors of the first year of law school, UDSL policy prohibits employment during the first year with the exception of holiday and summer breaks (This policy does not apply to Online Hybrid students). After your first year, you may pursue part-time employment to help with tuition and other costs.
