The Center for International Programs

Welcome to the Center for International Programs!

The Center for International Programs imagines a community of empowered global citizens building a just, peaceful, and sustainable world.

Guided by our Marianist values, the Center for International Programs provides leadership, strategic direction, coordination, and support for the internationalization of campus. In collaboration with other University departments and global partners and communities, the CIP offers innovative programs and services to enhance intercultural education, support student success, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.   Under the Office of the Provost, our areas include Campus Engagement, Education Abroad, Intensive English Program, International Student & Scholar Services, English Language Institute, and Global Partnerships.

The International Education Council (IEC) is the permanent leadership engagement structure to formulate, review, and recommend international strategy at the university level. This includes refining and updating the international strategic plan, and establishing policy that supports internationalization. In areas where a related policy is the purview of another office or body, the Council provides recommendations as appropriate.

Faculty & Staff Support

At the University of Dayton, faculty and staff play an essential role in achieving the internationalization goals of the University. Lead students through education abroad programs, develop curriculum that incorporates new perspectives through unique faculty development programs, or attend and promote intercultural programming to your students. Whatever your discipline or research interests are, international opportunities await you.
