Diversity Peer Educators (DPE) program brings together students from diverse backgrounds and experiences to promote social justice education and intergroup relations through peer-to-peer workshops, D.E.E.P., using activities that explore identity and group dynamics, with the goal of better understanding self and others.

DPE Benefits

  • Receive mentorship from UD faculty/staff trained in intergroup relations.
  • Become eligible to live in special interest housing for one academic year while serving as a DPE on campus.
  • Train, develop and engage in dialogue facilitation and social justice.
  • Gain accelerated leadership opportunities.

DPE Time Commitment

  • Participate in fall and spring retreats.
  • Attend monthly DPE development and update meetings.
  • Host programming, events or workshops for peers.
