Recent events in the United States have highlighted the racial inequities that
continue to exist in the nation. The concept of race and systematic racism
have many complex layers that reach far beyond the U.S. borders. Join Dr. Leslie Picca from the Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Social Work and Dr. Julio Quintero from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to learn about the context of racism from both a U.S. and global perspective and how this is relevant to today’s current issues we face as a global community.

To register, email cip@udayton.edu by September 22.
