Conversation Groups bring Intensive English Program (IEP) students together with American students for informal conversations. You'll meet and talk with this diverse student group regularly to help international students improve conversational English and knowledge of American culture, and to help American students expand their global perspectives.

This week, the topic of the Conversation Groups will focus on receiving advice from International Peer Academic Coaches (IPACS). IPACs are experienced international from the University of Dayton's Office of Learning Resources. They're here to help all new international students by discussing topics like American classrooms, transitioning to a different culture, networking with campus resources, and more.

This week, the topic of the Conversation Groups will focus on regions of the United States, such as the South, the Midwest, the Northeast, and the West. Each of these regions has its own defining cultural characteristics that make them worthy of exploration.
