International Student Arrival

Welcome to the University of Dayton!

Transitioning to the United States from your home country can be both exciting and challenging. We’re here to help make the process go as easily as possible for you and your families.

New international students must report to campus before the program start date on the I-20 or DS-2019. On the program start date, required activities will begin such as Bridges (required for academic students) and IEP Placement Testing (required for those studying English first). Missing these activities could seriously jeopardize your immigration and academic statuses.

COVID-19 Update:

The ISSS office will hold Bridges International Orientation for Fall 2021 in a primarily online format. Attendance at Bridges is required for all new international students.

UD has measures in place to protect the health and safety of our community from COVID-19. Visit UD’s COVID-19 page to learn more.

New international students should also visit our Fall 2021 Info for International Students page to find important information related to travel, enrollment, and health can be found on this page.
