All About Mary

Welcome!

John S. Stokes Jr., founder of the Mary's Gardens movement compiled an extensive website beginning in the 1980s. Stokes donated his website to the care of the Marian Library and it was transferred in early 2010.

When searching All About Mary, note that content attributed to Stokes Mary's Flowers and Gardens is original to Stokes' Mary's Gardens website. Our charge was to keep Stokes' content authentic to his original website while integrating it into the All About Mary encyclopedic tool. Therefore, it is possible that some text, hyperlinks, etc. are outdated.
