Queen of Peace Shrine
Queen of Peace Shrine
On a ranch thirteen miles from this remote high-desert town, a shrine to Mary stands. The Queen of Peace Shrine was built on the ranch of Leo and Anna Mae Albertson.
Built in 1976, it is a family shrine, but people from all over the U.S. come to pray the rosary.
The Shrine faces the rising sun and Mary's face and gown are radiant at dawn, as the morning sun speaks over the Warner mountains.
The shrine is open by appointment only May-September by calling 541-947-0973.
