Advent

Four Sundays before Christmas (December 25) through December 24

  • December 8: Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
  • December 12: Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Christmas Season

December 25 through January 5

  • January 1: Solemnity of Mary's Divine Motherhood (or Mary, Mother of God)

Ordinary Time

January 6 through the eve of Ash Wednesday 

  • February 2: Feast of the Presentation of the Lord 

Lent

Ash Wednesday through Holy Saturday

  • March 25 (moves if during Holy Week): Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord

Easter Season (Eastertide)

Easter Sunday through Pentecost

  • May: Month of Mary
  • May 31: Feast of the Visitation (Depending on the date of Easter, this feast may fall during Ordinary Time)

Ordinary Time

Monday after Pentecost through the first Sunday of Advent

  • May: Month of Mary
  • May 31: Feast of the Visitation (Depending on the date of Easter, this feast may fall during Ordinary Time)
  • Third Sunday after Pentecost: Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
  • July 16: Memorial of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
  • July 26: Memorial of Saints Ann and Joachim, Parents of Mary
  • August 15: Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary
  • August 22: Memorial of the Queenship of Mary
  • September 18: Birthday of Mary
  • September 15: Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows
  • October: Month of the Rosary
  • November 21: Feast of the Presentation of Mary
