1950: Pope Pius XII proclaimed the dogma of the Assumption of Mary into heaven, body and soul.

Dedication of the Marian church in Jerusalem

1964: Promulgation of the Dogmatic Constitution on the Church (Lumen Gentium) with Chapter 8, "The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, in the Mystery of Christ and the Church," the longest official teaching of Mary in the history of the Church

Pope Paul VI repeated the consecration of the whole human race to the Immaculate Heart of Mary that had been made by Pius XII on October 31, 1942 by radio.
