1858: Twelfth apparition of Mary in Lourdes

1858: Thirteenth apparition of Mary in Lourdes. She expressed the wish that people come in procession to the grotto.

1917: Due to the visions of the farmer, Eudokia Andranova, in Potschinki near Moscow, discovery of the miraculous image of the Dershawnaja Kolomenskoja was honored in Russia from then on.

1933: Eighth and final apparition of Mary in Banneux, Belgium. She said to Mariette Becor, "I am the mother of the Savior, the Mother of God. Pray much!"

1939: Pius XII, called "The Marian Pope," succeeded Pius XI.

1907: Birth of Lucia, the eldest child visionary of Fatima.

1974: Pope Paul VI published Marialis Cultus, an Apostolic Exhortation on the right ordering of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

1858: Sixteenth apparition of Mary in Lourdes. She stated, "I am the Immaculate Conception."

1920: Pope Benedict XV declared Our Lady to be the "principal patroness of all aviators."

Patronal Feast of Our Lady of Walsingham, England

Our Lady of the Don, Russia. 

1981: Promulgation of the Rite for Crowning an Image of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It contained a new litany in honor of Mary's Queenship.
