1584: Gregory XIII established a Marian sodality in the Jesuit college under the title of the Annunciation

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

1624: By enthroning her image in Luxembourg, the Jesuits founded the place of pilgrimage, Our Lady, the Mother of Jesus and Consolation of the Afflicted. The image was crowned in 1866.

1933: Canonization of St. Bernadette Soubirous

1925: Mary appeared to Lucia and asked for consolation by celebrating the first Saturday of the month by going to confession, receiving communion, praying the rosary
