Clerical Society of Virgo Flos Carmeli
The Society Virgo Flos Carmeli Clerical consists of members of the Heralds of the Gospel who have received a call to the priesthood, after decades of community life, in order to better undertake evangelization. The Society is an expression of the charism of the Heralds of the Gospel Association, with the specificity of priestly vocation, and strives to provide ministerial assistance to believers who feel attracted to its charism, especially those living in community.

Foundation: 1956
Ecclesial Recognition: Approved as a diocesan institute June 15, 2006. Received approval as a society of apostolic life by Benedict XVI on April 4, 2009.
Membership: Brazil, Colombia, Italy, Peru, Spain, Ecuador, El Salvador, Dominican Republic and Paraguay
Membership: In 2011, the Society has 83 priests, 34 deacons and 483 permanent members

Overall Purpose: The sanctification the members, both the brothers who belong as well as the sisters of the Heralds of the Gospel, according to the practice and development of their charisms.
