Where It All Began: Collaboration Accelerator 1.0
The Collaboration Accelerator was piloted in the summer of 2015 by the Air Force Research Laboratory , University of Dayton , Wright Brothers Institute and The Collaboratory. This summer internship initiative explored new approaches and new tools for cross-sector collaboration in the innovation space.
Using as a framework two very different challenges of importance to the region—one involving tech commercialization and the other community connectivity—this project brought together over eleven weeks a dozen University of Dayton students from the School of Engineering, the School of Business and the College of Arts and Sciences. The Challenge Team developed an interactive installation that integrated art, technology, business and the human condition to express their findings and recommendations.
