Wellness Classes and Activities

Please be advised:  All activity classes require an Informed Voluntary Consent and General Release and a class payment.  Please send a copy of your signed release to Wellness at +1649. Online registration begins on Tuesday, December 17th and ends on Tuesday, January 7th at noon. A Rec Plex membership is NOT required to participate.


Who Can Participate?

All full-time and part-time faculty and staff members as well as retirees of the University of Dayton are eligible to participate in Wellness Program classes and brown bag sessions. Spouses and immediate family members may also register for Wellness Program activities, but they will be accommodated according to availability of space.


Rec Plex Membership and Parking

A Rec Plex membership is not required to attend Faculty/Staff Activity Classes, but you will need to bring your University ID for access to the Rec Plex which is only allowed during your activity class (allowing for arrival and shower time.) If you are interested in a Rec Plex membership for personal use, contact the Rec Plex at 937-229-2704 or for more information, visit their website.

Parking Amenities for Rec Plex Use:

UD Faculty/Staff
UD is committed to the health and well-being of the faculty and staff, encouraging individuals to lead a healthy, active, and balanced life. In an effort to accommodate your visits to the RecPlex for your recreational pursuit or Wellness class participation, employee permits will be honored throughout the year as follows:

  • S2 Lot:  At any time
  • C Lot:  Monday - Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:30 am
  • C Lot:  Monday - Thursday from 7:30 pm - 6:00 am NO PERMIT REQUIRED
  • C Lot:  Friday 4:30 pm – Monday 6:00 am NO PERMIT REQUIRED

UD Campus Recreation Members (non-faculty/staff)
UD Campus Recreation members are eligible to purchase parking permits on a monthly basis to park in Lot S2, which can be purchased by the individual requiring short term parking at Parking Services located in Fitz Hall 191. Lot S2 permits will be honored throughout the year as follows:  

  • S2 Lot:  At any time
  • C Lot:  Monday - Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:30 am
  • C Lot:  Monday - Thursday from 7:30 pm - 6:00 am NO PERMIT REQUIRED
  • C Lot:  Friday 4:30 pm - Monday 6:00 am NO PERMIT REQUIRED

Shuttle Service
