In order to build championships — and support academic and professional success — our student-athletes, coaches and programs need both immediate and long-term support.

Investing in the Flyers means supporting the dreams, dedication and future success of students who balance winning both on the field and in the classroom.

Your support contributes to our ability to recruit and retain the best talent, enhance the resources available to every team and ensure that our student-athletes graduate prepared to soar.

Running the Numbers

As a cross country runner, Noah Clemens knows that small improvements in a runner’s efficiency can lead to big changes in race results. As a health science major, Noah had the opportunity to test whether the step cadence of 180 steps per minute provides the best results for highly-trained runners. Noah’s research was supported by the Berry Summer Thesis Institute, a program that provides intensive disciplinary research opportunities along with professional development and social activities.

Money’s making a big difference in college athletics.

These sports are the purest expression of what college athletics was meant to be, and the student-athletes are extraordinary. We want to give them an experience worthy of the Dayton logo, and only philanthropic support makes it possible.
