3 + 2 Program ODU/UD

ODU and UD 3+2

The best of both worlds

The University of Dayton (UD) has partnered with Ohio Dominican University (ODU) to offer an accelerated path for students who would like to complete a bachelor's and master's degree in as few as five years.  After completing the first three years of their undergraduate studies at ODU, students will then attend UD, where they will complete the final year of their bachelor's degree while simultaneously working toward a master's degree.

Students who apply will not be required to pay an application fee or submit letters of recommendation, a personal statement or other admission materials to UD. Students will receive a 50 percent discount off undergraduate tuition during their first year at UD, and a 30 percent discount off graduate engineering tuition during their second years.

Who Can Apply

In order to receive full acceptance to UD's School of Engineering via the UD-ODU Accelerated Engineering Program, students must:

  • Major in Biology, Chemistry, or Computer Science via a 3+2 track at ODU
  • Enroll at ODU as a first-year student, as this program is not available to transfer students
  • Earn an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 by the midpoint in their junior year
