Advancing Transportation Systems

Transportation engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Dayton encompasses teaching and research of transportation system planning, design and operations. The Transportation Lab provides the necessary equipment and space for traffic control and analysis, system planning, model development and testing, intelligent transportation system evaluation, highway safety assessment, and crash data analysis.
