NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program


The University of Dayton is proud to announce the National Science Foundation sponsored Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).  

The GRFP recognizes and supports individuals early in their graduate training in STEM (Science, Technology, Education, and Mathematics) fields. Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend of $34,000 along with a $12,000 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees, opportunities for international research and professional development, and the freedom to conduct their own research at any accredited U.S. institution of graduate education they choose.  

Who's Eligible?

  1. Undergraduate seniors or first-year graduate students in the fall of 2019
  2. U.S. citizens or permanent residents

Students must also be able to attend all workshop sessions, Tuesdays, 2-3:15 p.m on the following dates:

  1. August 27
  2. September 3
  3. September 17
  4. September 24
  5. October 8
