Girls Creating with STEAM Camp

Attention Students entering 6th grade this fall!

Enjoy a FUN Summer Camp where YOU can innovate, problem solve and work with teams.

Girls Creating with STEAM is a fun, hands-on day camp for girls entering 6th grade in the fall. This camp will introduce girls to different types of engineering and will allow them to work in teams to innovate, create and problem solve.

  • Location: Kettering Laboratories at the University of Dayton
  • Days and Times: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon
  • You choose the week: June 6-9  OR  June 20-23

NOTE: Camp is limited to 25 participants. We will be accepting applications on a first come first serve basis.

Eligibility

  • This camp is open to any student who will be entering grade 6.

Cost

  • $20 (includes a t-shirt and lunch on the final day of the camp)
  • Payment is due at the time of registration

Before You Register

Please have the following available before you register:

  • Student's T-shirt size (short sleeve, standard fit)
  • Credit card for payment

Registration

Registration deadline: May 23

To register you must complete the following three steps:

  1. Submit $20 fee using this payment link.
  2. You can complete registration, consent, release and medical authorization form using this registration paperwork link and follow these instructions to complete your registration:
    1. Fill out all required fields as noted by a red star.
    2. Submit digital signature on page 6.
    3. Once all required fields have been completed, hit the ‘click to sign’ button.
  3. After your registration form has been submitted, you will need to confirm your signature. Check the email you provided in the registration paperwork - you should receive an automated email from “Adobe Sign” requesting you confirm your signature. Click the link in the email to confirm your signature. You will then receive another automated email confirming completion of your paperwork and provide you with a copy of your registration paperwork.

After You Register

  • You will receive an automated reply confirming the completion of your registration paperwork.
  • At the end of May, you will receive an email with specific camp details including drop off and pick up information. This information will come from Mary Ann Dodaro, mdodaro1@udayton.edu

Cancellation Policy

  • No refund is available if you cancel your registration.
