Virtual Experience
Interested in experiencing UD from the comfort of your home? Join us virtually to explore engineering disciplines and careers through interactive sessions. Virtual camp will be conducted through an interactive UD platform and live sessions will be held over Zoom. This camp is open to any rising high school student.
Virtual Summer Experience Highlights
- Explore the diverse fields of engineering through interactive sessions. Guided by University faculty, you'll discover what distinguishes engineering disciplines through modules that show how engineers tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing society.
- Engage with faculty, engineering professionals and students, along with opportunities to meet with representatives from industry.
- Discover ways students can get involved in, and beyond, the classroom.
- Learn about the college admission process, along with UD specifics.

Virtual Experience Eligibility
- Our virtual camp is open to high school students entering any year of high school (9th, 10th, 11th or 12th) in the Fall of 2022.
- No minimum requirements for the virtual experience. There is limited availability and spaces will be given on a first come first serve basis.

Student Benefits
- Discount of $50 toward one of Summer 2023 in-person, residential Engineering Experiences at the University of Dayton!
- Student must be eligible for 2023 residential camp to use discount.
- Rising 12th graders are eligible for the following:
- When you apply at UD, you will receive priority consideration for admission and all available scholarship opportunities if you apply by November 1.
- $4000 book scholarship for attending camp and submitting FAFSA.
- Through the University’s textbook scholarship program, eligible undergraduate students can use up to $500 per semester (for 8 semesters of full-time enrollment) toward the cost of your textbooks from the University Bookstore.
