Summer Engineering Experiences at the University of Dayton

Residential Summer Experience Highlights

Join us on UD’s campus to experience life as an engineering student. Through our in-person, residential summer camp:

  • Explore the diverse fields of engineering through collaborative hands-on projects. Guided by University faculty, you'll discover what distinguishes engineering disciplines through modules, which will show how engineers tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing society.
  • Engage with current UD students and learn about their experiences studying engineering and involvement in and beyond the classroom.
  • Enjoy a sit-down dinner with an engineer, ask questions and hear from professional engineers who are open, willing to share and ready to encourage.
  • There are plenty of fun social activities too. Play a pick-up basketball game, conquer the climbing wall or use the pool in the RecPlex — the University of Dayton's recreation and fitness complex. Enjoy billiards, bowling and video games in the Hangar — the student union game room.
  • Learn about the college admission process, along with UD specifics and an optional campus tour with UD students.

  • Co-Ed Engineering Camp: June 22 - June 25

To be considered for special circumstance-based financial assistance, complete the financial assistance application on the Register Today page. Applications will be reviewed on the 15th of each month of February, March, and April, and awards will be granted for that application period by the last business day of the month.

Awards are available for partial assistance or full assistance of the camp fees, not including camp deposit ($100). If you need to be considered for financial assistance for the camp deposit, please indicate in the form. Camp deposits are required for all registrants at time of registration.
