Admission Information
Undergraduate students applying to the Bachelor's Plus Master's Program must meet all requirements outlined by the School of Engineering.
All master applicants must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited program in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied mathematics or other appropriate fields. A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
All doctoral applicants must have a master’s degree from an accredited program in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied mathematics or other appropriate fields. A cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 is required on a 4.0 scale. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Admission Requirements
Online applications must include the documents below. Others items may be requested.
- Official academic records of all previously attended colleges or universities must be submitted directly from the colleges or universities to the Office of Graduate Admission Processing. Hand-carried transcripts, official copies marked Issued to Student and unofficial copies are not acceptable.
- Three letters of recommendation from professors or employers.
- A personal statement or resume.
- Results from the GRE are not required. Candidates can submit a score to support their application.
International students have additional requirements.
Application Deadlines
There are no deadlines for applications. Students must be able to attend classes at the beginning of each semester. The inability to do so may result in a deferral of your start term. Please contact the department chair if you have questions.
