Transferable Credits by High School Course

You can receive three credits at the University of Dayton for the School of Engineering's EGR 103, Engineering Innovation course by completing four high school Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses.

Eligibility

Secondary school students from PLTW-certified schools may receive credit for EGR 103, Engineering Innovation, based on satisfying the following requirements:

1. meet requirements for admission to the University of Dayton and the School of Engineering for engineering and engineering technology majors
2. complete four PLTW courses (including Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, and Engineering Design and Development) with each course completed with a grade of “C” or above on the end of course exam for each course
3. show four courses with grades on high school transcript or submitted college transcript

2. Principles of Engineering
3. Engineering Design and Development
4. One additional PLTW Course
