Industry Partner Events

Guidelines for All Events

Industry partner events for students are posted on Handshake, UD's online recruiting platform, which also creates a weekly email to students of upcoming events.

Guidelines for Lobby Events

  • All requests for lobby events should go through the Engineering Co-op and Internship Office or the School of Engineering department the company is working with.
  • If the event is booked through the Engineering Co-op and Internship Office, we will provide a parking pass and put the event in Handshake. We also provide a QR code for students to scan if they would like to leave their information for the employer to contact them after the lobby event.
  • We will provide a 6’ folding table and space for display banners.
  • We recommend bringing a tablecloth with your company logo. If not, we have red and blue table covers.
  • Any type of table display or information display you typically use at career fairs or trade shows is appropriate for this type of event.
  • A team of no more than four representatives is recommended, and if you have a current student or alumni to speak to students, please consider them to join your team.
  • Food is allowed in this area and can be ordered or brought in. However, please contact us if you are planning for more than cookies or candy.
  • Electric is available in this space but AV is not.
  • Company representatives are responsible for set up and tear down.

Guidelines for Information Sessions

If your company is interested in hosting an information session, we recommend connecting with the School of Engineering department(s) that best aligns with your industry to discuss visiting a class or student organization meeting.
