W.I.S.E. Mentoring Program

Women in Science and Engineering Mentoring Program

The goal of the WISE mentoring program is to build a network of support on campus. Through a series of workshops and social events, participants are paired with a one-on-one mentor and placed in a mentoring family, creating a strong sense of community and support. Come be a part of a program that fosters personal and professional growth.

I love mentoring the women because it is such a valuable opportunity to provide guidance to future generations of STEM majors. I want every woman to feel welcome at Dayton and comfortable to be themselves.

Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers

Our theme for the 2024 - 2025 school year is "WISE Mentoring: Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers". We will focus on forming more personal connections, breaking down barriers of inadequacy and self-doubt, and shifting from viewing each other as competitors to collaborators.
