UDBEC-20070207: University of Dayton Kettering Labs Window Energy Use Analysis.

  1. On January 9, 2007, Dr. Joe Saliba, Dean of the School of Engineering, requested an analysis to determine the energy cost savings from replacing the current double-pane aluminum frame casement windows in Kettering Labs with Pella double-pane wood-frame double hung windows.
  2. The proposed windows with and without a low-emissivity coating were analyzed.
  3. This report summarizes the results of this analysis.
